Classic Recipes

Iron Ranger

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Walker’s Cay Bourbon
  • 0.5 oz Velvet Falernum
  • 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz Fresh Pineapple Juice
  • 0.5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a shaker. Whip shake with 2-3 pieces of crushed ice. Pour into a Tiki Mug / Hurricane Glass / Collins Glass and top with crushed ice. Garnish with an Orange Slice and Fresh Grated Cinnamon or Nutmeg.

The Perfect Manhattan

Ingredients:

  • 2.5 oz Walker’s Cay Bourbon
  • 0.5 oz Dolin Sweet Vermouth
  • 0.5 oz Dolin Dry Vermouth
  • 2-3 Dashes Angostura Bitters

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and add ice. Stir for 30 seconds and strain into a chilled Coupe. Garnish with a Lemon Twist and a Maraschino Cherry.

WALKER’S COLD BREW TONIC

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Walker’s Cay Bourbon
  • 1 oz Cold Brew
  • 1 tsp Maple Syrup
  • 3 oz Tonic Water

Directions:

In a mixing glass, stir together Walker’s Cay Bourbon, Maple Syrup, and Cold Brew. Fill a Highball Glass with cubed ice, add Tonic Water, then slowly pour the bourbon/brew mixture on top, allowing it to layer on top of the tonic water. Garnish with a Lemon Twist.

WALKER’S CAY CLASSIC OLD FASHIONED

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Walker’s Cay Bourbon
  • 1 tsp Demerara Syrup (2:1 Demerara to water)
  • 4 Dashes Angostura Bitters

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir quickly for 7 seconds on 4-5 ice cubes. Strain onto 1 large ice cube in a Rocks Glass. Garnish with Lemon Twist and Orange Twist.

Western Sour

Circa 1950’s Published in Beachbum Berry Remixed

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Walker’s Cay Bourbon
  • 0.75 oz Velvet Falernum
  • 1 oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
  • 0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp Simple Syrup

Directions:

Add all ingredients to shaker then add ice and shake vigorously for 10-12 seconds. Strain onto fresh ice in a Rocks Glass. Garnish with fresh Nutmeg or Lime wheel.

King Kong

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Walker’s Cay Bourbon
  • 0.5 oz Jamaican Rum
  • 0.5 oz Tempus Fugit Banana Liqueur
  • 3 Dashes Angostura Bitters

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass, add ice and stir for 8-10 seconds. Strain into a Rocks Glass with a single large ice cube. Garnish with a Lemon Twist.

WALKER’S Swizzle

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Walker’s Cay Bourbon
  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 oz Grand Marnier
  • 0.25 oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 3-4 Berries (blackberry or strawberry)

Directions:

Add Berries to a chilled Collins Glass and muddle. Add remaining ingredients to the glass and fill 2/3 with crushed ice and use a bar spoon or swizzle stick to mix. Garnish with Mint and 1-3 Berries of choice.

Bourbon Banana Flip

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Walker’s Cay Bourbon
  • 0.75 oz Tempus Fugit Banana Liqueur
  • 0.75 oz Simple Syrup
  • 0.5 oz Cream
  • 1 Egg Yolk

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a shaker and dry shake (no ice) to emulsify the egg. Then add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for 12 seconds. Fine strain into a Chilled Coupe. Garnish with fresh grated Nutmeg.

Frozen Recipes

Bahama Bourbon Colada

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Walker’s Cay Bourbon
  • 2 oz Fresh Pineapple Juice 0.5 oz Coconut Cream

Directions:

Add ingredients in a shaker full of ice, hand-shake for 20 seconds, and strain into Rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with Pineapple slice and a Cherry. Or, for a frozen colada, add ingredients to blender with ice and blend.

WALKER’S CAY FROZEN JULEP

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Walker’s Cay Bourbon
  • 1 oz Coconut Cream
  • 1 oz Creme de Banane
  • 0.5 oz Fresh Lime juice
  • 10 Mint Sprigs
  • 1 cup of ice

Directions:

Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a copper mug and garnish with a Mint Sprig.

GRAPEFRUIT GINGER BOURBON SLUSHIE

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Walker’s Cay Bourbon
  • 3 oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
  • 3 oz Ginger Ale
  • 1 cup of ice

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and slushy. Pour in Highball glass and serve immediately. Garnish with Grapefruit Slice and Herb Sprig.

WALKER’S CAY BOURBON CIDER SMASH

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Walker’s Cay Bourbon
  • 0.75 oz Vanilla Syrup
  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 oz Apple Cider Dash Cinnamon
  • 1 cup of ice

Directions:

Combine all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a copper mug. Garnish with an Apple Slice and a Cinnamon Stick.
